As someone whose household has always gone the holistic/non-toxic route, I know how essential it is to have clean products at hand. Not just certified green or ethically sourced, but something made to last through the seasons and won't tear if you snag it on a fork while doing dishes–something sustainable in terms. In lieu of green-washing my brand, I want to tell you keeps are the more sustainable option when it comes to reusable cleaning gloves. Chores can be daunting, but similar to working out–having the right equipment or activewear can really make or break the experience!

The idea of keeps gloves came about when I was in the thick of morning sickness and needed a pair of cleaning gloves that kept my hands odor-free (yeah, I'm talking about that gaggy latex smell). I noticed my sweaty palms only made the rubber gloves smellier and I found no way to get them smelling fresh again. I found myself buying pair after pair of rubber gloves–hating the stench of them I ended up not wearing any gloves whatsoever which created a completely different problem. Dry. Cracked. Aged looking hands. Normally I'm not one to care about aging, but my hands were so dry and cracked in spots it hurt. Even the cleanest detergents or soaps can be too harsh and damage bare skin. Not to mention a nice manicure if you have one. Pairing this idea with my product development background–keeps cleaning gloves were born! Finally a pair of sturdy silicone reusable gloves made to last the tests of any cleaning dilemma. Trust me, I've used them to clean many a messes made by toddlers and dogs. ◡̈
